You’ll report directly to the President & CEO and play a central role in our organization. You’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational management of all packaging activities at our Mirabel site, as well as inventory, transportation, and distribution. Working closely with other departments (Production, Quality, Sales, Finance, etc.), you’ll ensure smooth operations, supply chain efficiency, and the highest quality standards.
You’ll oversee planning, production, quality control, line performance and yield. You’ll ensure strict compliance with food safety, workplace safety and quality standards (CanadaGAP, OHS, etc.), while contributing to the integration and continuous improvement of equipment and technologies.
You’ll plan, organize, and optimize all logistics activities: receiving, warehousing and shipping. You’ll make sure products are delivered efficiently and on time. You’ll manage relationships with carriers, negotiate contracts and monitor performance. You’ll track key metrics (costs, delivery times, service levels) and take concrete actions to improve.
You’ll manage inventory levels (raw materials, packaging), ensure accuracy, and minimize losses. You’ll also take part in implementing and optimizing our ERP system.
You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of supervisors, coordinators, team leads and frontline employees. You’ll train, motivate, evaluate and support your team members, helping to build a collaborative, high-performing, and safe work environment. As a member of the leadership committee, you’ll also contribute to the company’s strategic direction.
You’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives that boost efficiency, quality and profitability. You’ll identify and implement practical, innovative solutions and take part in the company’s long-term planning in logistics and packaging.
A bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, packaging or supply chain, including at least 3 years in a management role.
You’re confident working with ERP systems (ideally SAP Business One), Excel and data analysis tools.
You’re a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, a sharp eye for problem-solving and a drive for results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where autonomy and sound judgment are key.
