As Payroll Manager, you play a central role in both finance and HR support. You are responsible for the complete payroll cycle for 12 entities and about 400 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. Reporting to the Finance Director, you work closely with the HR team to integrate personnel changes and manage CNESST files.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Mirabel, daytime schedule, with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement depending on operational needs. In a growing environment equipped with solutions such as Employeur D or Nethris, you’ll contribute not only to the daily accuracy of payroll but also to the continuous improvement of our processes.
Oversee data entry, calculation, validation, and issuance of payroll, meeting deadlines while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Apply Québec labor laws and tax standards, and prepare official documents (T4, Relevé 1, government remittances) on time.
Integrate new hires, departures, leaves, and adjustments; manage CNESST files in collaboration with HR to ensure smooth and compliant processes.
Manage deductions related to group insurance and the group RRSP, and provide courteous and professional support to employees.
Reconcile payroll accounts with accounting, prepare required journal entries, and provide reports and analyses on worked hours and payroll data.
Propose process improvements, participate in the implementation/evolution of payroll tools, and help increase reliability, traceability, and efficiency.
Degree in administration, accounting, human resources, or a related field, with at least five years of relevant payroll experience.
Strong knowledge of Québec payroll laws and regulations, including collective agreements. Experience with temporary foreign workers is an asset.
Comfortable with payroll software such as Employeur D or Nethris, and proficient with office tools.
Recognized for your accuracy, analytical skills, and ability to manage priorities effectively, even under tight deadlines.
