Ingredients

  • 2 large SAVOURA BIO organic Carpaccio tomatoes
  • 1 ball of fresh mozzarella
  • 1 large handful of fresh basil
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Bamboo skewers to hold it together (optional)

Preparation

  1. Slice the Carpaccio tomatoes horizontally and the mozzarella into thick slices.
  2. On the base of a tomato half, stack a slice of mozzarella and a few basil leaves, and top with another tomato slice.
  3. Secure with a bamboo skewer if desired for stability.
  4. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, then season with salt and cracked black pepper.
  5. Serve immediately, well chilled.
